A law firm dedicated to providing a superior level of service to our clients.

At the Law Firm of Elias C. Schwartz PLLC each attorney, paralegal, and staff member serves our clients with utmost competence and courtesy. We provide all of our clients with personal attention and custom tailored legal solutions. All members of the firm work together to keep our clients informed about each stage of every case. We return telephone messages promptly and provide the information that our clients need for the success of their businesses. We regularly send our clients detailed updates on the progress of ongoing cases. The law firm of Elias C. Schwartz PLLC is committed to giving all clients outstanding legal representation and the attention they deserve.

Our practice is focused on representing businesspersons in the fields of construction, debt collection, and commercial litigation. We work closely with construction companies, general contractors, subcontractors, building material suppliers, engineers, owners, and land developers. We strive to provide the legal services necessary to the success of any construction related enterprise. We represent clients in contract negotiation, drafting, and execution. We also assist our clients with negotiations to secure marginal accounts, difficult collections, and large exposure risks. In an industry where so many different parties are involved in a single project, disputes inevitably arise. We provide aggressive litigation services when negotiation of a dispute becomes impossible. Disputes related to breach of contract, and delivery of, and payment for, supplies and services routinely arise in construction projects of every size, both residential and commercial, in both the public and private sectors. Our legal team stands ready to negotiate on your behalf, while always remaining willing and superbly able to protect your rights and interests in court.

Our collection procedures continue to benefit our clients that have outstanding accounts receivable. Through the use of unconventional billing techniques (hourly rather than absorbing a percentage of the recovery) combined with the conventional tools available to us, including but not limited to mechanic's liens on public and private projects, bond claims, and trust fund claims, our clients have enjoyed a successful rate of recovery of past due accounts. We also encourage our clients to pursue past due debt at the earliest possible time, greatly enhancing the chance for recovery. Our use of hourly billing allows our clients to readily turn over accounts for collection that they might otherwise wait several months to try and collect for fear of losing a third of the recovery in contingency fees.

We utilize the latest computer technology, databases, and programs to locate defendants and their assets in order to enforce the judgments that we obtain. Let our knowledge, experience, and technology work for you. We will help you recover the money that you are owed for the work you have done and for the materials that you have provided.

Our work in each area of construction law enhances every other area of construction law in which we practice. By devoting our time to various areas of the industry we can confidently accept any legal problem presented by our clients.
